Gull Lake is a secluded lake in the Central Adirondacks, this info pertains to the Gull Lake Lean-to located on the lake.
To get here take NY 28 North at Alder Creek, take Bear Creek Road all the way down to the trailhead parking area. From there it’s a 3.5-mile hike, if you keep driving down the dirt road you will come to another parking area that puts you about 1.5 miles from the lean-to. The trail is a bit muddy but it’s an easy hike to the lake. This site makes for a nice quick half day trip or an overnight stay, the lake is shallow but I believe they do stock it.
